"Firebird, Part One: Khobkas Lament." Part 1 of 3. Scientists investigating the site of the 1908 Tunguska crash experience weird effects. Witnessing this is one of the survivors of the original incident way back when. A few months later the skeleton of one of the scientists shows up in Nevada with varying amounts of Carbon-14 sucked from different parts of the body. This leads Mulder and Scully to a strange building in the desert, the old man who survived the original crash, and an even stranger creature.
