Spawn

Spawn is a comic book character created by writer-artist Todd McFarlane, premiering in 1992 under Image Comics. The central character, Al Simmons, is a government assassin betrayed and sent to Hell. Making a pact with a demonic entity, he returns as Spawn, a supernatural antihero.
