The mysterious mutant known only as Bishop is a man out of time. Trapped in our age and forced to come face-to-face with his eras legends, he has recently been lost to his teammates in the depths of space. But events soon send him in search of his missing sister Shard... and on a trail of destruction that eventually hurls him into the future! Finding himself in a strange and unfamiliar place, our hero discovers that Earth is now a place that resembles the middle ages: primitive villages and clans have replaced cities, the fight for survival has replaced law and order... civiliziation as we know it has fallen!
