SPECTACULAR HIGH RELIEF 2014 KANGAROO DESIGN

The coin's reverse depicts an adult kangaroo standing on its haunches, next to a fence on a property in rural Australia. The design includes the inscription AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO, The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark and the 2014 year-date.

The coin's high relief reverse and obverse are minted on concave surfaces to ensure the optimum flow of metal is achieved by the strike of the die.

AUSTRALIAN LEGAL TENDER

Issued as Australian legal tender, the coin's obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.

MINTAGE

The Perth Mint will issue no more than 19,000 of the Australian Kangaroo 2014 1oz Silver High Relief Coin in this packaging, from a maximum mintage of 20,000.
