1966 SCANLENS COMIC BOOK FOLDEES 43 CARD SET (NM)

This seems to be a reissued and numbered set after the original card #7 was withdrawn because it was deemed offensive to the queen. This is a "Printers Proof" set provided to Scanlens by the printer. The cards were never inserted into packets. The set was bound by an elastic band when it was sent from the Printer and was not removed for over 30 years, so some residue and marks remain on the back of Card #1 and the front of Card #43.

These cards a very difficult to find unfolded, let alone in mint condition as singles. A complete set is almost impossible!!
