USAGI YOJIMBO VOL 3 (1996) THE COURTESAN - SET OF TWO

Story and art by Stan Sakai. Usagi comes to the rescue of a girl attacked by masked bandits. She turns out to be the maid of the area's most renowned courtesan, recently back from seclusion. It comes to light that the assault was not a random attack, but the tip of a conspiracy. Usagi is soon embroiled in a plot involving the province's nobles and the successor to a lord's throne. Part one of a two-part story.
