PHANTOM #1865 (COLLECTORS REPLICA SERIES #23)

Collectors Replica Series #23 - story by Lee Falk and art by Wilson McCoy. This is the 23rd issue in Frew's Collectors Replica Series and reprints issues #133, #132, and #131 from 1958. Issues #133 and #132 contain the first publication of the 1957/58 daily story 'The Scorpia' with art by Wilson McCoy. The story only completed its American newspaper run in May 1958 and was then quickly published by Frew in these two issues. Issue #131 contains the second publication of the 1943 daily story 'The Phantom's Engagement' with art by Wilson McCoy. The story was previously published in issue #34 back in 1951.
