FOSTER is set against the backdrop of late 60s-early70s urban crime movies, in a nameless metropolis called VINTAGE CITY.. It's an asphalt jungle. New ork, LA , Chicago and San Francisco all rolled into one...but not their modern incarnations. This is Gotham of forty years ago. Stuck in time...before internet, Starbucks and cell phones. A gritty, analog world. Grey Skyscrapers. Diners. Store fronts. Yellow cabs. Cable cars on tracks. Workiking stiffs scurrying out of the streetcars in fitted suits and porkpie hats.
It's a stylized world that Harry Callahan, Popeye Doyle and Doc McCoy coould call home...
But it's also home to the DWELLERS - monsters of legend that creep in the shadows and feed upon unsuspectingh humans that don't know they exist.
This issue is signed by the creator BRIAN BUCCATELLO. The issue was signed at the Heroes and Villains Pop Culture Expo at Penrith Panthers in late August 2012.
